The Investment Process
There are four inter-related steps to our Investment Process.
- Creation of the Long-term Strategy. Using the financial model for context, an investment policy statement, the asset allocation and the long-term strategy are created.
- Implementation. The implementation strategy, including the screening and selection of the various managers, is typically done gradually taking economic, market and tax considerations into account.
- Monitoring and Reporting. Monitoring of the investments and the managers is done on a consistent basis. Proprietary quarterly reports are created and then discussed with each client.
- Portfolio Modifications. As appropriate, the portfolio is reallocated and rebalanced to bring it in line with both the strategic model and current market and economic conditions.
